H.C. Starck’s heating elements are fabricated from refractory metals like tungsten (W), molybdenum (Mo), molybdenum-lanthanum alloy (MoLa), and molybdenum alloy (TZM) and are supplied to OEMs, end-users and aftermarket furnace manufacturers. Maintaining temperature uniformity, reducing production costs compared to graphite and ceramics with improved cycle times, no carbon contamination and fewer component rejections are just a few benefits derived from these refractory materials. Applications for H.C. Starck’s heating elements include annealing, brazing, heat treating, HIPing, melting, powder processing, sintering, tempering and metal injection molding (MIM) in both batch and continuous furnaces.
